I know there is on STX. There is a furniture store in Christianstead which carries their stuff. I am not sure if it was called the Museum store or not. I am sure someone here could tell you.

St. Croix LEAP has a workshop off Mahogany Road where they build historical furniture that is sold at the Whim (?) Museum store in Christiansted. I also saw a wood shop in Gallows Bay. I design furniture so this of interest to me as well for when I move down.

Maybe you guys can come up with some furniture designs for round homes. There is a market for those as Domes are becoming more popular.

i love dome homes. i read the thread on this site about dome homes and it sounds like a lot of people don't like them simply for their appearance. yeah, they can look a little funky, but the inside is spacious, usually with a loft, and they are highly valued for their construction strength. I have looked into buying a dome for cara and i and they are reasonably priced too. That's a great idea Iris. I'll keep that in mind. thanks, sam

Hey Santa Fe, we're looking at three years. We're headed down for New Years and hope to find some land or perhaps a condo for now to generate some income. North shore/west end is where we're looking.

I have downsized my company to just myself now. Had a 12,000 s.f. shop for 6 years and up to 12 employees. Design/build at that time. I have built a few pieces myself but I definately concentrate on design now. I create entire aesthethic packages for business that include logo and identity package, interior design, fixtures and furnishings and complete construction documents for all above. Would love to do the same in STX and thruoghout the USVI/Caribbean.

What's your background?
