i have no doubt its hard living as a black person in a white world, just like its hard to be a white person living in a black world. but not everything that happens to a person is due to their skin color. its just not no matter how hard you try to make it be.

everyday we wake up we have the possibility of dying. thats just how it is.

now this thread is about safe areas, crime free areas. where are the safe crime free areas? maybe where there is no gang activity?

he is all about race and color, he doesnt see beyond that for anything

I'm still trying to figure out what crime in the Tampa Bay area has to do with crime in St. Croix. Hillsborough County has 1.4 million people and is 70% white - of course lots of crimes will be committed by white people based on those facts alone. Many crazy people of various ethnicities - originally from all over the US - in Tampa Bay area for sure. Guns, drugs, meth heads, alcohol, angry drivers, trailer parks, crimes yep.

FYI the accused Seminole Heights serial murderer is African American …. not sure what point you're trying to make.

If you're looking for common denominators it seems that anger, guns and drugs rather than race are shared between crimes in Tampa and STX.

Remember...crime comes in all colors...

...etc, etc,

Everything IS about race and color, and to deny it is dangerous and stupid, especially if you're a person of color.

I'm just pointing out that crime occurs everywhere, although some people act like it is a St. Croix specialty.

I'm much more in danger in Hillsborough County than I ever was on St. Croix. It is not just the obvious "guy with a gun" things, it's all the other things also. I have near-death experiences every day just driving to work.. People here are constantly committing "little crimes" that can kill you.

Try living as a Black person for a few days, then come back to me with your crap about everything not being about race and color.

Ummm yeah, unless you get caught in the crossfire. If the dude who got shot, had run into the nail salon, someone inside there might have gotten shot as well. I suspect that the shooters would have pursued him as he went in the door.

I'm not concerned about the inter-gang shootings on STX. Its good to cull the herd.
