rotorhead should be at least as free to deride religious myth as you are to exalt religious faith. After all, Constitutional protections were designed to protect minority views. And Sam Harris has a point when he argues, it is "merely an accident of history that it is considered normal in our society to believe that the Creator of the universe can hear your prayers, while it is demonstrative of mental illness to believe that he is communicating with you by having the rain tap in Morse code on your bedroom window."

I believe Rotorhead was just trying to spark a reaction with his mission statement............ just let it be.

I believe in freedom of speech. Political and religious view points should be shared in appropriate forums or topics..not just randomly strewn about.

It is just how I feel.

Many people use a signature line while posting. I certainly didn't find this quote in the least offensive.

I didn't mean to offend, I'm only expressing my opinion. I didn't see this as any different than someone ending their post "God Bless". I have never objected to that and I'm sure you never have either. I guess I should start an atheist thread to see how many are out there. I am a member of ffrf.org and if you have seen the latest poll on religion then you will notice that the fastest growing religious group in the US is "None".
