Where is "four corners" on STT?
Can anyone be so kind as to direct me to the place called "four corners" on St. Thomas? The best thing would be if someone could post a link to Google Maps with the location marked - that'd make my day 🙂
Follow the signs to Mountaintop (burned down but the signs should still be up) but instead of continuing on that road, go to the left & you'll come to an intersection with a stop sigh. That's Four Corners.
Which road do I take to follow those signs?
Is this the location of 4 corners? : http://maps.google.com/maps?sll=18.352998,-64.951601
That's it. I don't know the route numbers but St. Peter Greathouse is on that road. If you're coming from Nisky Center head north at the stop light at the shopping center & continue on that road. You'll come to sort of a fork but bear to the left & keep going. You'll pass the Ag station on the left & Bryan's nursery on the right. Keep going until you come to a 4 way intersection. That's it.
I've been there many times and I'm lost reading these directions! LOL~
Good luck! My roommate gives me directions - he's been here almost 12 years- and I get lost - for a bit - I always find where I'm going - eventually!! Dysfunction Junction, Bridge to NoWhere - I can get just about anywhere starting at one of those places.
Question, br1k, do you know where the bridge to no where is?
Sure do, just drove by it a few times today 🙂
Four Corners confused me for a long time because on those airport maps there appear to be FIVE corners.
Linda, what/where is "Dysfunction Junction"? (LOL regardless)
Now I've got a modified version of the Schoolhouse Rock song in my head.
Dysfunction Junction, what's your function?
It's at the west end of Yacht Haven Grande, where they have redone the intersection - heading west you curve to the left - you go straight to go towards Bluebeards Hill or right toward the Domino station - where you turn to go to the Hospital/Raphune Hill/the backway to little Kmart.
I go straight at dysfunction junction as I head thru town to get to the road that takes me towards Mafolie and the hill that heads up to St. Peter's Great House.
Everyone I ever asked, who was asking how to get somewhere, knows where the bridge to no where is!
I was just keeping this experiment alive, thanks!
Yeah I got that dam dysfunction junction song in my head too, thanks allot!
Good morning:
Since you are here on de island - go pick you up a copy of "St.Thomas/St. John - THIS WEEK" Sep't and Oct. copy.
Page 46 and 47 - there is a map of St. Thomas.
This map will show you exactly where 4 corners is locate - to give you some idea of where it is.
Hope this helps!!!

There are 4 roads that meet at 'Four Corners" :
The road From the West - called Crown Mountain Road it starts at Nisky Center and comes up and over the Crown Mt. then along the N-side
The road from the East - starts at Sibs comes up St Peter Mt, past MT Top road
The road from the South - called Solberg Road starts below the Palms or old Harborview facility and comes up the mountain on the south side - you can also approach this using Scott Free road
The road from the North - called St Peter Mountain Road comes from Mafolie Church along the N-side
It is a 4 way Stop signed intersection BUT use caution as many drivers blatantly ignore the Stop signs.
Exit Zero:
Great direction - as always.

Those are STOP signs ? I thought they were "suggestions" 🙂
You're supposed to stop at stop signs???
😮
Leaving TuTu mall, the question I always wonder about, how many cars are supposed to go through the red light before the one with the gree light can go?
I want to know why in the hell can't you turn right out of the entry by Mc Donald's. I mean I understand, but I always forget and have to cut across into the bank to go back home. I NEVER remember about that one.
Traffic blocked up more when you could turn right.
That sounds like an oxymoron (turn right out of the entry)?
