Where in the world is NPR?
It seems that NPR is no longer on my 107.3 radio dial in STX. Anyone know where else I can find it?
There was a thread last week on that. Station was sold and will no longer be NPR. They may provide a few of the NPR programs but that's it.
Update is that one of the TV stations may take it over.
Listen online for now, and become a member to support the station.
Here's the link to the discussions about NPR from a week and a half ago.

I'm listening to NPR online right now. Why do we need it to remain on the radio? We could barely get a signal on STX.
Does NPR charge a station to carry NPR programming?
Does NPR charge a station to carry NPR programming?
Yes. Here's a good overview:

Thanks OT. I saw that WTJX was raising funds in order to carry NPR on their radio station.
It seems wrong that one public station would charge another public station to carry their programming.
Combine the linked article from the Source with the linked article from NPR and it all comes together!
