What is up with Island Trader???
I look forward to looking at Island Trader, Crusian Trader and the one from St. John every Thursday.
Last couple of weeks, it has not been updated.
I have sent an e-mail to to the paper - hoping that - they would update, but as of this morning(Saturday), it still shows from Dec. 4th to Dec. 10th. I realize it is holiday season, but...........
Does anyone know why or have connection so the information/newspaper can be updated?
This has happened many times last several months, I realize it is free - and it is nice to have especially when you are not on the island.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I guess the cutbacks did not just hit the Daily News staff, they hit us too!

I have put ads in the IT and they have been in it each week.

Billd;
You might have access to the paper there on the island, but I am on the main land.
The only way I can see them is via website.
They usually update this every Thurday morning - as new paper comes out each week.
BUT right now, it has the one from December 4th to December 10th.
I know that this is a freebie and do appreciate it, but it would be really neat if they could update.
This coming Thursday is Christmas/ Next Thursday is New Years.
Most likely they won't have it updated until January, 2009??????
I will send another e-mail tomorrow and see what happens.
Hope you have a good nite!!!
They sure cut back on the TV Guide on Saturday which was the only reason to buy the paper on that day.
I sent 3rd e-mail this morning and received a response.
This is what Daily News said:
Good Day:
Thank you for the reminder. The request is in the hands of our web content subcontractor.
All links to Island Trader, Crucian Trader and Love City Trader should be eliminated early this week.
Merchants have not been keen on the idea of paying for the products to display online and we had been doing so earlier in the hope that it would catch on.
A new website will give each advertiser the choice to display online is to be launched next year.
