What is happening to the food trucks on St. Croix?
I read a couple of months ago that DLCA was going to crack down on food trucks that never moved and require them to obtain a restaurant license.
The food truck at Triangle.Basin is gone, Anna's living food truck is gone and the new food truck at Tide Village is closed and for sale. These are just a few examples of trucks that are gone.
What a shame, less choices for food now and small businesses out of business.
Does anyone know why they're closing?
i was wondering where Annas was, i just assumed they moved to a new location

It is now called the "Seahorse Republic" but I have no idea about location.
Oh Man i loved the curly fries at the tide Village food trailer.
There was a recent thread on the new food truck at Cane Bay for breakfast.

Mahogany's Delights closed because the gas station owner, upon seeing how electricity they were using, raised the "handshake" rental agreement from $600 to $1750 per month.
It might have been worthwhile for the gas station owner to put in an internal meter and charge them for the electricity usage privately as many businesses here do for these types of rentals.
If Mahogany's Delights could find a new spot they could kick butt! I hope they do.
They should be running on generator and propane.
