Weekend Jobs
Does anyone know of some part time weekend jobs in St. Thomas? I was looking to add some supplemental income in my free days. I couldn't do anything related to serving alcohol due to my other job.
There are a few on Craigslist.

In which section? I don't see any.
OP, if you can give an idea of what particular skills you have which might lend themselves to a weekend job, some respondents may be able to make suggestions as to who you might approach. You said you're going to be teaching and presumably you haven't yet started but maybe private tutoring once you get established?
Check the want ads in Daily News or Island Trader.
Silly me - missed the only one which might fit out of the 54 posted in the last month. Guess that qualifies for "a few". 😀
Good Grief! Way too early for sarcasm.
There are other part-time jobs posted, but days not specified.

And always worthy of comment from those who don't appreciate a little levity - ever. 😀
And maybe a little less "levity" from you would go a long way.
Maybe you could be a cop on the weekends.
No one else is doing that job at the moment it seems.
Not sure about STT but maybe the companies that handle baggage for the airlines might hire weekend help.
Really to find a part time or weekend job I suggest you look at places you might like to work at and present yourself in person, neatly dressed and with some brief resumes/ contact info in hand and ask about working part time. Many places may have that need and don't advertise for various reasons. Your availability may present them with an unconsidered option for a scheduling conflict resolution they are having.
Consider what kind of work you would like to do - boat crew - cashier - salesperson - house cleaning - office work - painting/maintenance - warehouse stocking etc. and look in that industry.
In person you are showing your personality, have an opportunity to meet business owners, make an impression and maybe if they don't have a need they could turn you on to a place that they know is looking.
If I am not mistaken in an earlier thread you indicated you had a teaching job. If so, have you thought of offering private tutoring services to some of your more academically challenged students?
What are you good at?
There's always niches to be filled.
Are you a good organizer, can you lift and move stuff, can you be a weekend house sitter, handy doing small painting projects, fixing little stuff, computer literate, can you give a helping hand in gardening, moving things, taking pets to vets, shopping for shut ins?
Create your own part time work.
