My husband and I are moving to STX in August. Visited last month and have been noticing that almost every day it rains or has rained since we left. Is that the norm, or is this a rainy season? My husband was stationed in Seattle and one point and I am not sure that he is fond of the rainy days......Thanks!

Hello Stacy,

Our weather reports often say scattered showers.

Rainy season for us is November, October, September, August - in that order.

Our rainy days are not like Seattle's rainy weeks. 🙂

You can find more weather information for the USVI at this link: http://www.vinow.com/usvi/weather.php

Stacy,
I moved to STX from Seattle. The rainy days here are nothing at all like rain in Seattle. The weather is still 84 degrees and you still wear shorts and sandals, even in the rain. Your nose doesn't run and you don't sit around and shiver. Rain here doesn't inspire the depression that the gray murky skies of Seattle do around mid-winter. Your husband will love it here! You will, too...

Hello, I just returned from STX this past Sunday. The seven days I was there the forcast was scattered showers everyday. It rained, maybe a total of 4 minutes during the day and a few hours at night the entire time. I snorkeled seven days in a row, it was great!!! The people were very friendly for the most part, very willing to answer questions and provide info, if possible.
