Well, we made it to St. Croix yesterday afternoon late, someone from the company met us at the airport, put us in a hotel and I have started work. WHEW! Thanks for all the help and advice on hotels here. Now we are going to be looking for housing (reasonable money wise, although that might not happen) and need to know if anyone can help guide us in the right direction. I work at the Hovensa Refinery and would like to be as close to that as possible. Judy will be checking the forum perodically throughout the days (Hi from Judy!) and she will be the one to let know of anything.

Welcome to the VI, hope you and Judy find a suitable rental soon. Keep us posted as you settle in, look for an apartment, learn your way around and so forth; others considering moving here often can learn from the stories and experiences of those that have moved. 😉

We are also hoping to make the move there. Contact Matt and Stevie Spencer at S.O.S. Spencer Ocean Services, they are near Hovensa and have many connections.
Tell them Cameron and Scotty sent you, only if you are "cool" that is...ha, ha...just meaning I don't know you, but they are great people and great friends.
