We are in the middle of our garage sale all our furniture went yesterday and all that is left (according to me) is junk 🙂 but Les is still outside selling his little heart out !!! - he is sure someone will buy it (I think he just sold a can of paint for 25c -yeh I can go shop now ) Enjoy and keep us posted.

Welcome to STT! I think after seeing things here, you will really appreciate STX, at least that is what my husband tells me. He has flown over there a couple of times on business and thinks that I would love STX. Of course, for most people, there is more job availability on STT and is where many end up. Hi everyone-
We spent today (saturday) with Teresa and her husband. Wow, I needed the moral support - moving can be anxiety provoking! We had a beautiful day - had lunch at Paradise Point and drove a bit of the island. Teresa even shared her favorite milkshake place with us!
We met with a realtor later in the day and will look at a couple places tomorrow. Then on to STX!!
Ronnie has treated us as family. What a great find to stay here. We will be ready to share our experiences with all the folks back in KC when we return. Talk to you soon.

hello mike and travelelwoman, ric, hipcrip and everyone else!

i land on STX at 5:28 pm on monday the 18th, (that doesn't factor in the apparent probable delay or missed flight in san juan.)

i will be staying for the first week or so at the Kronegade inn in Csted. don't have a phone yet, planning on getting one when i get there, but i gather that can take some time to activate. i plan on checking the boards at the local internet cafe daily so, hopefully, some of you will want to get together-i'd love to meet you all! better still, if we could arrange something on the board before i fly out at 5:00 cdt monday, i'm sure i could meet you for coffee or drinks or whatever.

You might be a little tired on Monday getting to where you need to be in C-sted; how about we try another day and let you rest up a bit?

We have an appointment Tuesday morning with a real estate agent; I'm guessing evenings will be free, more so than the days, which we want to make good use of looking for places to stay. Use my cell phone number when you get on island and we'll figure out how to get together - 816-679-6701.
