just bought our 2 one way tickets to stx!!! will be arriving sun.3/31 with 2 cats and 1dog..it took longrer than expected but now we will be cruicians too!!!!

Hello. Was it hard to find a place that allows pets? Where to you find your property? I assume you are flying; how are you getting your pets there? Thanks for the info.

SVG - most pets can fly - you have to check with your airline carrier for size requirements or maximums, there are times of year they won't allow dogs for heat reasons I think, some are allowed with the passenger - smaller animals, there are restrictions on some birds... ect. What kind of pet do you have, size ect.

(Onika has become our island pet expert on this board - and I am sure will help out)

Its some what more challenging to find apartments that allow pets... greatly depends on the pet ie. cats might be easier to look over then a big dog.

we bought @ plantation @ southgate in stx.. we checked out every development on stx and love this the best very hard to buy units ther because .#1 very un condoish no club house tennis courts etc. #2 relativ ely low condo fees becouse#3 their is acommitmeent there to keep it relatively natural..#4 imagine only 18 units on 16 acres of landwith distant water view we can see the boats go buy to and from the yacht club#5 surrounded by farm land land extremly quiet and you have to rent for a minamum of 4 mths .. noweeekly beach people coming and going on eAST END 15 MIN WALK TO BEACH NEED ISAQY MORE WE ARE BLESSED..MOST OF THE FEES GOES TOWARDS THE UP KEEP OF THE POOL NESTELED IN THE RMAINS OF A SUGAR MILL SUCH ARE TYHE GROUNDS BEAUTIFULLY LANDSCAPED ON THE RUINS OF AN OD SUGAR MILL PLANTATION

Linda I don't remember if the St. Croix group get together was this passed Sunday or this weekend coming. Look forward to reading your post about how it went. Glad to here things are working out for you - keep us posted.

ISLANDER ..YOU HAVE HEARD THR EXPRESSION " aday late and a dollar short" it this fri i planned it but won't be there to sun. hVE POSTED THAT WILL BE THERE NEXT FRI INSTEAD... WHAT THE HECK WE WILL BE IN AMERICAS PARIDISE WHY NOT 2 PARTIES 2 WEKS IN A ROW VERY BUSY RIGHT NOW WITH MOVING BUT ARE VERY INTERESTED IN T SHIRSTS HOPE TO BUY SOON!
