Has anyone heard when the power to cotton valley will be up and running? I have seen lights in part of the valley but over in our area
Sierra Verde Rd.) still nothing. We had WAPA for about ten minutes monday night but then pop went a transformer and that was it.

you're lucky you had power for 10 minutes, lol. i called WAPA this morning and she said that they're "working on it". I live in the neighborhood on the first left after the Buccaneer heading east and we have never seen power since the storm. it's so frustrating. the rep said that they fixed the main line between cotton valley and divi and are now working on the neighborhood lines...i'm beginning to feel like the only one! maybe if i had some known people in my neighborhood, my power would be on.

I think it's just taking time. I live on the west end on the road between Mon Bijou and La Valle and we just got power yesterday at 10:30 am. I was thankful.

Good News.......Got my WAPA yesterday. Those line men do work hard. I think its people having generators hooked up wrong that makes extra work. saw it over and over again in cotton valley area. Fire trucks had to follow behind WAPA trucks to put the poles out.
There has to be a better system.
Innovative man told me today they contracted help from Puerto Rico. so they should be out soon. He said they have to wait for WAPA to get the poles up. BEATS ME!!!!!

Innovative hasn't even bothered to pick their wires up and clear the road. I'm waiting for someone who get careless on a motorcycle or bike to fall when they get snagged on an Innovative wire.

Some of their wire just blew off the poles that are still standing and could be rehung if Innovative would just get going. Since Omar I have only seen one Innovative bucket truck on the East End and that was the Sunday after Omar. WAPA had multiple vehicles Innovative one truck.

I didn't see anyone from Innovative working this weekend. I guess they didn't want to pay the overtime.

When I called Innovative this morning about my service being out they have no clue when it will be repaired. They DO WANT YOU TO PAY YOUR BILL NOW. When your service is restored in anytime from a couple of weeks to in my estimate several months they will give you a credit for the days service is out if you ask.

we JUST got power...and it was a crew from STT. Same situation after Lenny, 10 days that time amd then it was a crew from STT that did the work. We had transformer problems, and wires down between poles....took them at least half the day, and I think 5 or 6 houses got connected...not sure how far down the street it goes.
