Did I see on here that Walgreens ships to VI?

Drugstore.com and Walgreens are different sites. 🙂 I do know drugstore.com ships to the VI.

When I purchase the generics from drugstore.com, I am getting the Walgreens brand. This alone makes me believe they are one in the same.

i use drugstore.com all the time. generally decent shipping time and free if you spend 25 or 49, cant remember which.
they also have some food products

Be aware that drugstore.com's free shipping to USVI can be super slow. We placed two orders that took about 1 month each. I think it's $10 more for faster shipping.

It's not drugstore's slow shipping, it's the USPS that gets back-logged in Puerto Rico. I had a package arrive in PR, and the tracking info said it was going to sit there in PR for another 3 weeks before they bothered to send it to STX. One call to FedEx, who was the handler for USPS, got me my package here the next day.
Ask Donna Christensen why we get service like this...

You can get shipments, they just aren't free. It was WalMart's decision based upon cost.

Boyd there are several threads on here discussing why WalMart stopped shipping in detail - just run a search for "Walmart" and you'll find them. All the information you want and more without hijacking this one. 😉

juliekay, i made a pretend order at walmart.com, the shipping was as much as what was put in the shopping cart. needless to say, i did not shop there

I'm not sure we need a reason? Walmart decided to stop free shipping to the VI for financial reasons - whether on their own accord or under pressure from the VI government for a piece of the $$$. The end. Knowing a reason isn't going to change anything…
