Saw the initial chopper about an hour ago.

btw I hear that purchase rumor every year when he visits. Maybe it'll actually come true this time since his VP term is over.

Interesting there's a TFR exception for aircraft arriving/departing TISX AIRPORT but no exception for the seaplane.

I think they said on the news yesterday he was staying put in DC. Of course he can do both.

He arrived yesterday afternoon. Leaves Jan 2.

We were on our way to the airport from Cotton Valley around the time his plane landed. There must have been thirty police vehicles lining the route, plus additional armed officers interspersed along the way. We also passed two pothole squads on East End Road making half-assed attempts at road repairs (30 minutes before he arrived!). Watched his entourage leaving the airport, probably 20 vehicles including EMS. If previous years are anything to go by he'll have the usual two or more vehicles blocking the road to his villa for the duration of his stay. Apparently, vacationing is hard work. Good to see him back though, we expected he would have other options now that people don't care if he vacations in the US or not.

I was flying myself back to St. Croix from St. Thomas when Air Force 2 call sign came over the radio. I watched the 757 fly the arrival over PESTE just south of Frederiksted. Then San Juan said "Beeski, hold position" which meant I got to fly in a circle west of Fsted for 30 minutes until Biden was off the plane and on his way to his destination.

Since he is staying at a friend's house, I texted the friend and asked him if he'd pick up the charges for the 30 minutes of extra flying time that Bohlke is owed. When he said no, I think I responded with Make America Great Again. That being said, Air Force 2 is a beautiful aircraft.

We were taking our daily walk this morning and saw a small motorcade. Jill Biden exited from the middle of the motorcade and began jogging. Secret service agents were jogging behind her and she was giving them a run for their money. Kind of exciting!

He played golf yesterday at the Buccaneer. According to my friend playing there yesterday as well.

Mr Biden always golfs at The Buccaneer; never @ Carambola. The reason is security issues much easier to handle @ The Buc.

Saw his motorcade that day, must have been leaving the buccaneer. My Canadian wife was waving at them when he passed. The republican in me wanted to smack her, but it's all good. 🙂

On another note, we almost missed our flight as Biden was taking off around the same time and I forgot how slow the boarding process is as we usually leave first thing in the morning. I got an alert on my phone that the plane was boarding early and we still weren't even up to the security check point. The pilot wanted to get out of there, otherwise he would have had to wait and extra hour before takeoff. Although the storm in Atlanta held us up and the flight didn't make up any additional time. We did make it, but our luggage is still hanging out in STX. Lesson learned.
