VP Biden
Will be here (STX) Sunday Dec 27 - Jan 2.
We assumed he was cancelling this year, based on the fact that the East End potholes haven't been filled. 🙂
Good.........He'll not be under foot until after I get home tomorrow night.
CD
If Hillary is elected in 2016, and her VP is Sanders, Sanders would probably vacation in Finland. If Trump is elected in 2016, and his VP is Cruz, Cruz would probably vacation in Guantanamo Bay.
I thought he would have been here by now

No need to guess, as the FAA publishes the dates:

Biden arrives on Dec 27, at about 5 pm local time.

They didn't fill them all last year, either.
No fly zones over the airport and east end are in place. He may be on island now.

The flight restrictions are posted. But do not go into affect until 4:45 PM Sunday.
I wish Joe had decided to run for President.
where does he stay on the east side?
I wish Joe had decided to run for President.
Well, there's no term limits for VP.
He stays in one of the places on the water across from Seven Flags Rd.
This thread is repeated every year.
Sorry OT, we on STX enjoy the buzz.
No apology was sought. Just pointing it out so if anyone's interested in exactly where he stays and what he does it's all been documented before and right to hand.

There is no 'we' in YOU.
It's nuts. Dropped wife at seaplane around 1:30/1:45 and on way back to friends who live just east of Buccaneer passed 5-6 cop cars and it looked like a military checkpoint at entrance to Buccaneer. Forgot he arrives today. Guess I will have to behave 🙂
3:50 PM He's here!
Followed the motorcade from the bypass at 3:40.
He's staying at, or just visiting the Buccaneer?
Not at Buc. Stays at a villa.
I aasumed he was staying at his usual place, thats good to hear.
With everything thats going on in Biden's life, I'm glad he's still decided to return to St. Croix. I think that in itself, says alot about this little island.
Glad I arrive on the 10th and miss his disruption of island life. I know the disruption is not his fault
I think less of a disruption than a normal POTUS visit to anytown USA where they blockoff the freeway between the airport and wherever he's going during the middle of rush hour. Not to mention the roads in and out of the airport.
