I'm relatively new to the island and I'm trying to find out were to go on STX to play beach volleyball. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Used to be pick-up games on Sundays at Rainbow Beach. I don't know if that is still the case.

For several years I have been playing 1 - 2 times per week during the summers. I'm looking for competitive games (bump, set, spike) as opposed to just knocking the ball over the net.

Sorry Ryan, I should have said. Rainbow is north of F'sted. I'm not sure how far, maybe a mile or two north of Changes in Latitude, which is just north of the pier. As you can tell distance and directions are NOT one of my strong points.

I checked out Rainbow Beach and they no longer set up any nets there. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Is anyone interested in putting something together?

there is usually a net set up on the beach at Carambola resort. Doesn't get used much that I've seen unless there are groups of people traveling together who get into it.

Casey Kanton, the veterinary, used to be a big part of the pick up games out at Rainbow. You might try giving him a call.

Casey is the vet - lol His business is Progressive Veterinary Hospital and the #'s are 773 1256 (la grand princess) and 719 7387 (gallows bay)
