Hi everyone,
I have enjoyed reading and finding information
on this board. Everyone has been a big help, and I
appreciate all the advice that has been given.
I feel like I have a second family, every time I pop in
to ask a question, you took out time to help. Thank You!!!
My bags are packed and I will be on ST. Thomas by Monday night!!!!!
I can't wait,and start the next chapter in my life.
I hope to meet some of you that live on St. Thomas.

Had a great Sunday Funday on STX today. Beautiful day today.
Lunch and drinks at Eat@CaneBay with friends. Great burgers and Rum Punch. And beach bunnies across the road. (i am a guy!)
Then on to the Domino Club for MamaWannas and more friends. They close at 5:00 on Sunday, we closed the place at 5:45. 😉
Then on to Coconuts for Texas BBQ and more friends for dinner. Great music, lots of fun!

Has anyone else felt a huge change in the air recently? It is much cooler and dryer, love it! Whats up with the haze/fog today tho?

It's breezy for early October & cooler than it usually is but the haze is back. Best get my inhaler out again. 🙁

He said there was too much censorship here so he started his own blog on blogspot.com

He was censored for making terrible racial comments and, like that wasn't enough, doing unthinkable things to animals. He should have been censored

He made a number of classist comments, but I don't think he made "racial comments" or suggested doing "unthinkable things to animals."

He said he poisoned all the dogs by his house for attacking Tim's cats & made some remarks about too many West Indians & finished it by insulting Islander.

Poisoning dogs is NOT acceptable, IMO there is no such thing as a bad dog/animal. only bad owners!
We DO have laws now enforcing animal cruelty, did TRW do that, or not??
OK, I have a problem w/ too many STUPID west Indians,(not too many OF them)& I never insulted islander personally, but was nearly thrown off for speaking my mind & opinion here as well!
Remember, you do not have total freedom of speech here it seems!.

TRW was getting whiny, but don`t we all at times?
I`m not in a position to say whether or not he/she should be allowed to continue to post.
I have not seen the posts, & we were not asked collectively as a democracy whether he/she crossed the line.
If there is in fact, a small click that does collectively communicate regarding inappropriate posts/behavior, it has not been disclosed.
Though, it IS Islanders forum...right!

In any case, the message board is owned by the company who operates it and they make the rules, much as we all do in our own homes or places of business. We know that and accept it when we post. My home is not a democracy and neither is this board. It performs a valuable service and I for one enjoy it much more when some standard of civility is maintained.

before the whole TRW drama last week several of us were trying to think of ways we could help the feral cat population (pg 7) so they dont continue to breed. Can we get back to that, any new ideas?
The breeze tonight up here on the Northside is AMAZING, now if only the clear skies come back:D
