I just read on the new that they found the little five year old girl that was missing, dead. Her mother sold her.

this is the general consensus here...
skip the trial
skip the sentencing
bring her straight to the room at central prison where they give you a cocktail by drip and be done with her.
do the same with the guy who took her.
i am not a fan of the death penalty, but in this case i say FRY HER NOW!!!
this is tragic and i feel so badly for the father...so very sad for him.

I say make it illegal to have a child without a permit! To get a permit you have to take a parenting class, interview with a shrink and prove financial responsibility. Let's stop broken parents from raising broken children. Fry her!

The punishment should fit the crime.

The trial should be interesting. I can just hear the defense about what a crumby childhood she had, yadda, yadda, yadda. At least she had a childhood, more than can be said for that poor 5 year old. What she went through it might be a mercy that she didn't live to deal with that for the rest of her life.

On another topic, spent 5 days with a cleaning lady tossing stuff & sorting it. 2 carloads to the dumpster & not done yet. How 1 person can accumulate so much junk since Marilyn, I have no idea.

Usually we're all inclined to complain about the police but I need to publicly say thank you to the quick response of the VIPD. Yesterday, my friend's car was stolen. This afternoon I spotted the car and notified the police - right there he called and had cars dispatched to the area that I saw the car heading. Before sundown we heard the car was pulled over and the suspects arrested!!!
