Virgin Islands Beer Club
Has anybody heard of it? When and where do they meet?
Fourth Friday of every month at Beachside Cafe out west. Starts at 6:15 ish. Usually four appetizer sized courses plus dessert, each paired with a beer. Cost about $40 per person. Beers are all imported, mostly Belgium, some Trappist, almost all unique and tasty, even for a non-beer lover. You get a little history lesson about each beer from Dan, the importer, who can tell you the lineage of each beer down to its great great grandpappy. I like going to beer club because it is a pretty good deal for the price, the atmosphere is laid back, the food is delicious, you get to do something that is a little different on the island and overall it's pretty darn fun.
Sometimes they even pair beer with chocolate...
Thanks, nohstx! I heard there's also one on STT! Maybe this guy is doing both islands? Will STJ be next??
It's on Saturday the 30th at The Pie Whole in Frenchtown. 1 pm
This upcoming beer club event is looking like its gonna be a sell out. Let us know if you're interested so we can try and get as many beer drinkers involved as possible. If you think you're comming, comment on this post and tell us how many people will be with you. Tickets officially go on sale Mon, at Pie Whole.
I'm not a beer fan, but I imagine that my BF will be very interested. And I love Pie Whole in general. How much? Usually, he works on Saturdays, but I am sure he could do something to get the day off. More details, please.
From what I read on Facebook a price had not been up as yet. It is limited to 25 people. Look for them on Facebook and maybe you can contact them there.
