We aren't doing anything close to that still, just assessing damage; we haven't even been activated.

National guard is a backup to VITEMA, VITEMA has the ball for this situation and is working with FEMA, we (national guard) are just kept in the loop in case we are needed down the road; plus they are using our assets (buildings, communication lines, etc..).

What is almost comical about the obvious attempt at making political hay is that I personally have a closet full of firearms and ammo. In the V.I., every one of my neighbors had a firearm. Those who bray the loudest seem to have the least experience with guns. Like little Tucker Carlson.

Now, word out of St. John is roving burglary, robbery and possibly worse. I have NOT confirmed this, and it came satphone-cel-second hand from someone I know is in the East End. If you believe the entitled thugs that have roamed the streets for years prepared, stockpiled water and food, you're mistaken. They're out now taking what they feel they are entitled to take. A free for all. Same thing is going on in Florida, and riots and looting on SXM on the national news. Truly sad. I hope they get their just desserts. Arm yourselves. Remember Hugo and Marilyn. Be safe.
