I believe the $13K number is bogus. Where did this come from?

I was indeed comparing the income per capita in USVI with the GDP per capita in BVI, which is of course invalid comparison.

Below are the corrected figures.

USVI income per capita: $13,139
BVI income per capita: $26,903
US income per capita: $30,176
