I've never seen any supreme court hearings, but I've been a character witness for a few of our volunteers..
The court room was like the twilight zone, very passive aggressive attitudes mixed with a "good old boy" mentality. I'd mention the apparent skill of the lawyers, but there's nothing to really mention.
I found it hard to keep from laughing at times.... i can't WAIT to see some live stream supreme court... haha

Something else that's not unique to the USVI. I can only speak personally of a few states on the US East coast but my experiences there were pretty much mirrored here.
Probably not good for anyone with high blood pressure to watch.

Elaborate on the "good old boy" culture, por favor? Interesting to see that term used to describe anything on STX

The alternate definition to that referring to men from the Southern US states is, " ... a pejorative term, referring to someone who engages in cronyism among men who have known each other for a long period of time. Collectively these people are referred to using the slang term, good ol' boy network (also known as an old boys' club)." The definition quoted is from Wikipedia but repeated in the majority of dictionaries. Thus it's relevant and used correctly.
