On a lighter topic. We all love our Island mutts. Here is mine. After an hour of singing together Speedbump decided that he was not quite ready to stop.

This is an earlier video. I am trying to teach Speedy to sing on cue. Sorry, Speedy's voice is much better that mine.
Speedy was part of a litter that was dumped at the landfill as a puppy. He and his sister found their way across the road to the airport. They lived in a storm drain under the runway for the first year and a half of their lives. They were then captured by the animal shelter and spent four months in a cage there. No one wanted him. My wife was running the shelter at the time and couldn't put him down, he was too cute. He has been ours for the past two and a half years. He has gone from wild dog to family pet.
He got his name because the air traffic controllers used to tell the landing planes "Cleared to land runway 10, watch out for the speedbump on the runway".

Speedy's very happy you adopted him.
We took in an itty bitty kitty the other day. So cute. Named him Snickers.

My inner four-year-old is jumping up and down and saying "Oooh, puppy!" I swear I've worked in child care too long. LOL
He's such a cute dog, though!
