That was certainly a short lived relationship.

I recently read where she already made some high profile arrests for corruption. Maybe they wanted her to back off a bit?

No, the arrests had nothing to do with it. The Justice Dept had been investigating the case for 9 months per yesterday's paper. The IRB and Dept of Finance filed a criminal complaint against several individuals.

That was under investigation long before she accepted the position.
It more or less fell into her lap.

Sharing.. from the concoction, huh, consortium.. What a mess... If this is just a wrinkle, I feel for all who will have to put up with the speed bumps coming up ahead for four years...
