V.I. Daily News Question
Hello,
Looking at apartment listings on the Virgin Islands Daily News website.. Is the website just for St. Thomas or is it for all three islands (STX, STT, STJ)? The apartment listings don't specify which island they're on and I'm having a hard time figuring it out..
Thanks!
K
You can try and distinguish them by telephone exchange number. Before they were quite different, but now some of them cross over, but for the better part, you can tell.
St. Thomas
774-
775-
776- Note: St John has 776 numbers, but most of them continue with a 6 776-6XXX
777-
714-
715-
St. John
776-6XXX
693- Note: There are some numbers in St Thomas with 693, but not that many.
St. Croix
772-
773-
778-
692-
712-
713-
718-
and then there are cell phone numbers that are not island specific!
771-
513-
514-
690-
643-
998-
473-
474-
Good luck,,,,,Ronnie
Hello Kat,
The classieds on the Daily News web site are not comprehensive, their print papers carry more. In any case they are usually for St. Thomas and St. John, mostly St. Thomas. St. Croix's newspaper is the Avis which is not on-line. Sometimes there are ads for St. Croix in the St. Thomas paper. I just took a look at the on-line news site and all the ones listed today are for St. Thomas.
