UVI info please?
I'm 23, soon to be 24 and am contemplating a move to the virgin islands to attend the university there. I was looking into the marine biology program among others. Any idea if that particular program is offered at both campuses? I'm having some info sent to me, but i'm not quite sure from what I saw on their website. From what I understand St. Croix is the cheaper of the two islands, so I was hoping to attend classes there if possible. Im not really the on-campus living sort of guy so I'm hoping to find a suitable residence off campus. One more thing......i'm a Jehovah's Witness, any information on the nearest Kingdom Hall in close proximity to either UVI campus would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps a phone number or two. Feel free to email me at chris0stew@yahoo.com or drop me an IM on AIM....screename (zdillbone).THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Thanx for the info Islander, any other information you or anyone else might have regarding my other questions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Hello Chris,
Go to:
http://www.uvi.edu/pub-relations/admissions/application_forms_PDF/UVI_under_grad_app.pdf
All the majors are listed on page 2 for each campus.
From what I see listed the St. Croix campus offers BA or BS degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Elementary Education and Computer Science. They have Associates degrees in Accounting, Business Management, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Inclusive Early Childhood Education, Nursing Education, Police Science Administration and Process Technology.
So for the Biology or Marine Biology degree you need to be at the St. Thomas Campus. Perhaps you could do freshman year at the St. Croix campus and then the other 3 years on St. Thomas. Freshman classes are pretty basic intro. courses; English, history, speech, freshman science... so this might be an option.
