usvi??
..thanks to those of you who answered my question earlier....I would still like to know is there an over abundance of Americans there...?
Sash: We ARE Americans, all 100,000 + on 4 islands. (well, except for a few!)
Maybe you ought to ask what you mean. This way we can answr correctly. The islands are a possession of the United States. We carry American passports. We are Americans. What do you mean abundance? Do you mean transplants? Yes there are, but we have transplants from all over the world as well.
I have rentals. Currently I have a couple from Poland in one, a guy from Nepal who shares with a Colombian, an Italian with a New Yorker wife, a couple of white Americans and a Neorican. That's my mix. There are people from all over the world here. We are the melting pot of the Caribbean.
We do have Americans here to, but not that noticable that there is an abundance. Maybe on a heavy cruise ship day when we have an extra 20,000 people in town for 8 hours. That' s St. Thomas I am talkng about. St.Croix has a different mix, as does St. John. Hope this answers your question?
