Hi all....I just found out that I have no place to stay, when I arrive in STT on Tues. the 2nd. My friend that I was supposed to stay with is having job difficulties, which include her housing. Evidently her and boyfriend dont know if they will be able to be on the island at all. I'm freaking out a little.....I have only been able to save up enough money to "get by" with while visiting for 9days. And obviously hadnt planned on paying to stay any where. Camping is an option as long as the camp ground isnt booked up. And if it is I'm not real sure what to do???????? Also I will be alone, which I dont have a problem with...except that my friend (who I was supposed to stay with) was gonna take me around...help me find my way around....as well as pick me up from the airport/drive me around some. I will not have a car while I'm visiting. I dont know.........................not sure what......or anything at this point. My plane ticket is non-transferable...so I'm not about to piss it away. And I 've been planning this trip for months now...hoped to visit in an effort to move down , AND I'll be turning 30yrs old on the 7th .
Does anyone have any suggestions!!!!!! I am in desparete need of HELP.
I do dishes,wash cars,water plants........I sing, dance and I can mop the hell out of a boat deck.....AAAAAAAA!

Yea, the hospital has been cancelling contracts. If you need a place to crash let me know, my landlords are good people, they have 2 spare bedrooms.

I was 30 once and it didn't even hurt. Please don't let people take advantage of you.
You are not alone....
Ronnie is well known on this board and could be helpful. He can make sure you have a place to stay and will help find you more options.
I admire your open plea for help. Wouldn't the world be a better place if we could all be so open and honest???

Thankyou PH, Ronnie and Leopard...I shall be writing ya'll back tomorrow. I've had along day and are goin to night night. I already feel better knowing that there are people out there willing to help.

I too wish you well.......if I was on island, help would be a little closer for you.....living there you will find a more of a family atmosphere than a rude approach.
Hope all works out well for you………I’ll be there in a few months. Let us know how you maid out..
