Hello all-
This is my fist time to post a message here. I am seriously considering going to college on ST. THomas. It has been my dream since I was 12 to live on an island. I have experience with traveling in tge Caribbean and have spent long periods of time there too. I have never been to the USVI though. I'm just trying to get a feel for what the island/campus is like and also if I am going to stick out like a sore thumb there. ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You didn't give us any information on why you would stick out like a sore thumb -- are you purple?

Where else in the Caribbean have you traveled? Keep in mind the other institutes of higher education in the region, namely the University of the West Indies with campuses in Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad. What are you interested in studying?
