Wow. I tweet some, but I didn't know that.

Bumping so everyone is aware their views hit Twitter

Twitter is how I found this board.

Just saying....a lot of people post personal info... now that this board is on Twitter probably won't...which includes me in the mix.

It's good that you bring this to everyone's attention...but this board has, (I'm guessing) a far greater following in memberships than the 1900 or so followers on Twitter through VInow. In other words, the VINow twitter feed only adds to the audience a little bit. One should not assume that this board is anymore safe for personal info than twitter or any other forum. One need not be a member to read the forums, after all. Post with caution...the internet is for ever.

As always you have missed my point!

The internet is just hard on some folks. I once asked a fellow what his website was (HIS WEBSITE!). He couldn't remember, but he assured me I couldn't miss it...it was on the 4th page of google.

Sorry Tippi, but once again I have no idea who or what you're talking about. I just know that Anita is correct when she suggested your concerns about vinow on Twitter are silly, because vinow is on the Internet, of which Twitter is only a small part.

This person has protected their tweets.

I see no real concern, because people who use public forums know everything they post is for public consumption.

I don't know how to use the quote thing on the message board so I just copied and pasted the above statement from dntw8up. Laughing so hard I cannot breathe. What the heck is a tweet anyway? Why do people tweet? Who came up with twitter and tweet?

Tami: At the bottom right of the post box (whatever the heck it is called), it says "reply", "quote" and "report." If you click "quote" the entire post will appear and you may edit out whatever part(s) you don't want. I think technology is only as good as the technology user. Facebook and Twitter and iPhones and computers in general have positive and negative uses. Excuse me while I go tweet dnt!!

BTW, this whole conversation is an interesting exercise in how "what you thought I said is not what I said." which is very common on the internet, it seems to li'l ole me. 😉

Andrea - The above may be your intentions at the moment however, you do have a tweet account.

I give up Tippi. You clearly have me confused with someone else, but it doesn't matter. You don't know me -- not my name or anything else about me -- but you persist in arguing as if you do. So fine, believe what you wish, and enjoy yourself by keeping the discussion board "informed" about inane things like the fact that vinow appears on Twitter.
