TV - Internet STX
I've had about enough of PBS. It's nice, clear, free reception from St Thomas, but it's time to connect.
I'm looking for the best deal on TV and Internet only. I use AT&T for cell service and they offer Direct TV in the states, anyone here use it? Cable? Broadband?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
we have dish. it does go out frequently when it rains but not that big a deal to me. i have plenty to watch on the dvr. hubbys big complaint is it does not have the NFL package that direct tv does.
i believe the direct tv package you get would be the one based out of puerto rico. check into that.
we have broadband and love them
Ditto for Broadband and Dish.
Dish is probably the best deal for tv...Keep stuff in your DVR to watch for the heavy rain times, which honestly isn't all that often.
We have Innovative internet. Much better deal for the bandwidth. There have been a few times it has gone out but never more than a few hours it seems but that happens with every service on island.
The more I've looked into it, Dish TV sounds like the way I'll go.
Thanks all 😉
Innovative and Fmovies. Pretty much every Tv and movie you could want.
fmovies?
YES! Its changed my life! Ha! I just found it a month ago.
I don't suggest it if you're on a PC computer because its got a fairly annoying pop up and its kinda spammy but if you're on a MAC and can deal with having to close one window before watching your TV or movie - you will LOVE it. I literally am watching everything including brand new movies (some are cams) GOT - Big Brother - HBO originals - TV shows etc. I am soon canceling my Hulu and Netflix and probably PRIME since the shipping wont work here anymore at all. The last reason we had prime was for movies but FMovies is 100% better. Don't need them anymore and I am really excited to get GOT as HBO go just never worked for me even through a VPN. Cant believe the season is almost over already. So lame.
We use a MAC mini for our "TV" connected to our tv with HDMI so everything is done through innovative internet. Super simple and I am stoked to only have the one place for everything now.
sounds good, thanks for the info
Just cut the cord and get kodi via amazon stick or other android box. I haven't had cable or satellite for almost a year now. Don't miss it at all. All you need is internet. And it's FREE 🙂
