I have had 3 horrible haircuts in a row at 3 diferent locations on STX and could use any help at all finding some one who has just a little talent and mainland style..any suggestions at all would be great help.thanx
shave.
It sounds like there is some demand for a good barber on STX! I am glad to hear that as I am currently studying to get my barbering license. Shave for a year and 1/2 then I will cut your hair!
I am moving to STX ....I have been a hairdresser for years and currently have been teaching Cosmetology in a public High school for 15 years. Wondered if there was a need for a salon in STX?????? But I would be doing Stateside styles....LOL
Let me know

Have you tried "Headquarters" at the Caravelle Arcade???? I have found him to do a fairly good "stateside" styles and job.
I've been going to Monique's Beauty Salon at the Coakley Bay condos since I arrived on island (6+ months) and have been very pleased with them. The prices are higher than I pay stateside, however. They charge $35.00 for a woman's cut (plus tip) which seems high to me, but since the choices are limited here, I'm happy to pay it. My hair is very fine and it was important for me to find someone who understands how to properly cut & style hair like mine.
Their number is: 778-5889
can you say "FLOWBEE"
Try Spencers in Princess....He was trained at Toni & Guy in the states and now owns the salon!! For ladies he does FAB. color!!!!
Crystal at Indulgence at 713-1489. This is near Mailboxes next to where Western Auto was.
Mon's Barber shop is a favorite. It is across from the Pink Fancy Hotel.
sounds like you need to invest in a set of clippers and do it yourself.
saves me time and money every month.
just a thought......
