Tropical Wave Wednesday?
Anybody got any more news on the upcoming weather for mid week to the holiday?
Sure cooled off quick starting around 3:00 today.
When the wind changes from S to E the temperature change is noticeable -- www.weathercarib.com is an extraordinary local source of weather info.
It is going south of us. Dry for the next few days. We need rain.
Bring it on!!!!!!!
Do we need the rain to avoid the storms? Because otherwise I'm really tired of cutting my grass every week and would like it to go away for a while.
I haven't cut my grass since February. Only using the weed wacker around the plants and trees that I water. It grew some when we had some rain but is now drying up again. I would gladly cut the grass if we could get some rain.
if someone did "rent a goat" now they would have to file for bankruptcy.
at least the dust has gone away for now. heard it is suppose to come back though. grrrrrrrr!!!
Wow that's really odd because I don't live that far from Cotton Valley and we have a lot of rain this spring. And then heavy dew in the mornings. Just cut it friday and its almost due again. Feel free to come cut mine if you want to experience the joy of cutting it every week.
Also using a weed wacker will usually kill your lawn. When people use them 9 out 10 times they cut too short without meaning too. Start using the lawn mower and leave the blades up high.
We had just a little rain. The road is already dry and dusty. We use the weed wacker up close to the plants because our lawn mower is a big lawn tractor and cannot get close enough. The only place the grass is growing is where I water the plants.
It has been dry in the rain forest, actually... all of the hillside where I hike is brown and we are actually debating about buying water... if we do, it would be a first ever for this house.
we better be careful what we wish for. it could start raining and raining.......will have to build an ark.
But lets all do a rain dance anyway.
