Hi guys. I'm on St. Thomas for a one year internship and looking for a cheap scooter to buy. I know that it's not recommended but i don't have US drivers license so I can't drive a car. Bike is not possible. And those taxis are too expensive. So does anyone know where can I buy used or new scooter?

dont you need a license for a scooter too?? it is a motor vehicle

You cannot operate a motorized vehicle on a street without a drivers license, at least I'm pretty sure you can't. And the scooter will also have to have a license.

No, you need a license for motorcycle not for scooter.

Good morning. Same as here, scooters under 50cc you don't need a motorcycle endorsement. Not a problem, I have an unlimited license. My hope is if I acquire a temporary healthcare position there I can find someone to rent a cycle from during the time. Thanks again.

If you have a 50cc you are not going to be able to get up any hills so I hope you are coming to stx.
