Hello All,

HELP! Can anyone or everyone give me some suggestions of things I need to do while on my last STX PMV on June 28. I've been so busy getting things together here in the states that I have not created my to do list for my PMV. I will be there on June 28. I sarted my list this morning> I think the excitement and the emotions are clouding my thoughts

1. Take a long breath

2. Get an Avis Paper and start making calls to potential lanlords.

3 UHMMMMMMMMM

4.........

Go to Cost U Less and pick up a $3.99 liter of rum to drink while you’re going through the paper.

Make sure you know the location of Innovative’s office when your phone doesn’t work.

Figure out who has free food during happy hour on different days of the week to save some dough.

Learn how to fashion a lobster snare out of a curtain rod and picture hanger wire.

Get a good Hollandaise sauce recipe down pat for the left over lobster, which you’ll use in an omelet the next morning.

Go see Hal at Cane Bay dive shop and take a scuba course.

Make friends with everyone at Off the Wall.

Steve, I believe you could single handedly keep the Cruzan factory working overtime if you set your mind to it. Perhaps you could come up with a rum sauce for leftover lobster. Just an idea. Then you could bring it to STT when you've finally decided that this is where you're supposed to be. ;-b

We went to dinner at the restaurant at the Cormarant Resort (sp??) on Tuesday night. They have buy one dinner, get one dinner free! A bit expensive, but not bad with that deal - and VERY nice atmosphere!

Hello Melody,

Try Rumrunners for happy hour too. 🙂

Chenay Bay, Buccaneer, beach on Protestant Cay, Cane Bay are some nice beaches ;).

Have a good pre-move visit!! You are likely at happy hour right now (noticed you said you were getting in today). LOL!

Ahhh.. Off the Wall... The quintessential beach bar, if there ever was one. I said my nearly teary eyed goodbyes there last night... Havis was working, too. Sniff, sniff.

Yep, all the beaches mentioned above are nice. The little purple beach bar at Cane Bay is open now, so say hi to Calvin. There's another good little patch of sand at Butler Bay, too... North of F'sted, if you're out that way. A little secluded and there's some good snorkeling right off shore, too. Found a Moray there.

Back in ATL tonight, missing the islands already, but should be back down soon. I'll post some reflections later.

Thanks everyone for all the info. I arrived yesterday and could not get access to the message board from my hotel for some reason. Anyway I am going to take everyone up on there advice. Atleast as much as I can squeeze in in the next three days in between getting all of my business settled. Thanks steve for letting me know that everyone was still there.

Melody,
On Friday evening, go to Changes in Latitude. Splash plays some really great music and watching the sunset is gorgeous.
