just curious...why are message on this forum posted with a time stamp 5 hours earlier than atlantic time? Does somebody live in Hawaii or am I missing something? OR not getting something obvious?

My time stamps are accurate. Perhaps it's something individually set?

Interesting I see your time stamp as 5pm and it is now 9:09pm as I read this. I posted my message about an hour ago. Maybe it is my computer or I am in the afterlife,

It looks like the time posted is GMT. For what reason I don't know. I wondered the same thing.

This is a test. Had there been an actual alert.........

Yep, looks like exactly 4 hours difference, so I would also say GMT.

This is, however, new. I have been posting for a while now, and usually the time is local.

Changed my settings. Now local.

My editing may be a little misleading. Do change your settings to Atlantic, and you will be correct.

Why EST instead of AST?
