Three Short Weeks
Well I can't tell if time is speeding up or slowing down. When I look outside at the weather in the teens and the snow it feels like time is slowing down. When I look at the to do list and the calender with going away parties and birthday parties etc etc, (did I mention most of my friends are boaters and in the winter they will look for any reason to get together and have a party, the dance card is looking a little full for next few weeks.
Three weeks from today it will be wheels down in St Thomas one way.
As a wise man once said "be careful what you wish for".

Ah Man! Captain Jay! Days like this I wish I were on Water Island permanently! Woke up this morning to 29 degrees in TAMPA! Covered my plants and put smudge pots on our tropical and citrus trees but thinking it didn't do much to save them considering it stayed freezing temps/cold longer than 4 hours last night.
Buffalo chimes in at 3 degrees today and a high on Monday predicted at 60 degrees. Lake Erie is still not frozen. I follow in the foot prints in the sand of a friend that left FLA when it snowed and moved to the islands. True is the saying Watch what you wish for. It tends too jump up at times and bite. However, no longer being a young man and warm weather versus 3 degrees, I'll put a band aide on the bite mark. Good winds Capt. Jay.
Temp is 14 right now (noon) in Connecticut, will be 5 tonight. Who needs a nice small home in Connecticut? As soon as I can sell we will be following you down to the islands. Capt. Jay, I have been following your posts and blog; even saw you on an iphone forum. Keep em coming.
