The Gloves Are OFF!
Listening to the radio this morning, I heard both candidate's advertisements bashing the other. I hadn't been listening too often thru the campaign period but the ones I did hear weren't doing that.
Stakes are a bit higher now with a run-off looming so claws coming out and so are the innuendos, negativity and bashing.
Still hard to believe it's 8-9 days after the election and no results, yet.
Plus the results still have to be certified after the count.
To see what has been happening throughout this whole campaign and election period with all the controversy, the back and forth lawsuits, the whole mess with the BOE, the machines, the re-making of ballots, the delays and acrimony been disheartening and disillusioning to say the least.
I have to wonder why I bothered to go out during a tropical storm to vote in the primary and then during a downpour for the general election.
Now I have to go vote for a 3rd time?
I also heard a short audio piece played on 1000AM of Raymond Williams of BOE having
a complete and total cussing meltdown because there were cameras where he was doing the election count! Why the meltdown if you have nothing to hide? Good Grief!
I agree. I am glad he was voted out.
It's getting pretty disgusting and is turning me way off to both candidates.
It's discouraging to have voted for the better candidate, who did not win, and who we cannot vote for in a runoff election.
Diase Coffelt at least saw eye to eye with Mapp on voter rights and procedures and the inability of Ottley to prove that he didn't file taxes in Maryland in 2010 and 2011. I would love him to ask her to serve as attorney General to root out this rampant corruption, starting with the VI Election System first.
Next, the waste, fraud, and mismanagement.
Yes, Coffelt for AG!
Here's the DN article related to the audio meltdown by Raymond Williams of BOE that I heard yesterday morning on the radio.
