I am looking for information regarding my Aunt ,the Countess Nadia de Navarro, who has been known to reside in what people seem to refer to as "the Castle on the Hill." She has all but disappeared from the family and we are trying to locate her again. Yes, we have tried a Google search 🙂 but a lot of information on the web is absolutely untrue. All we really need to know is if anyone has word of her still being alive and residing in her island home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. A phone number perhaps? Thanks.

I really doubt you will get anybody to give you a phone number. You could be anybody just claiming to be her relative?

Hmmm. Lizard, are you a really her friend? Her name is Contessa Nadia de Navarro Farber.
DixieChick: I have no idea what her net worth is nor does it interest me.
Thank you all for your comments. I was told this might be the place to get information but I guess I will have to query elsewhere.

I believe Joel Holt is the Contessa's attorney, you could start there.

Yeah, it might be fishy. But what we actually KNOW is that someone asked for information, and someone else snidely attempted to correct the OP with incorrect information. Good advice on the attorney, by the way.

If she is so desperate to find the Contessa, is a relative and says she knows where she lives--why doesn't she come and find her instead of posting on a chat board......

If I am remembering correctly, didn't someone post info several months back about the Contessa, complete with photos of her and her home?
You could do a search on here, being sure to set the default date to "all dates". That won't tell you how she's doing now, but you will probably find it interesting.

If You read the original Post by 1Faber3 he/she referred to the" Contessa" as Countess. He/She Could have called Uncle Yuri who is still alive in Long Island.. I requested he/she PM me and I would make sure she The Contessa got the message. He/She did PM me and only wanted to know what relation I Had with her. He/She left no message/no name/ nothing. Also the Name Farber and Farbro appear on several legal documents in the VI. I hope this is snidely enough for you. :X

Sad but true, these days you can't be too careful. I thought this board was helpful. If the OP was legit, he could have left his name and a contact phone number/e-mail address in a PM to Lizard or just told us thanks and contacted Joel Holt..
I would NEVER give out information about a 3rd person on a board like this.

Yes! I remember that. It was a link to somebody's Flickr page. Or something. Real Estate Porn. Didn't really say much about the Contessa. I'm too lazy to look up the thread, but it's worth searching for if you want to see some very interesting interior design ideas and some water shots of Teague Bay.

Hi, there is something strange with this case. Yuri was a nephew of her husband?
Because he presented himself as her assistant. Even to some journalists waited for an interview with her. After her death he suddenly started to present himself as а husband. Also were published strange news that he is a husband, but "with no blood relation with the previous husband"and the second is that her daughter and grandchildren are alive, but they are not since many years. The whole family had an accident in Switzerland.
Also heard the Yury frustrated her blood relatives to contact the old lady for many years, who was ill and with demencia. They published that tried to contact Joel Holt, who did not replied. Immediately after her death they started to sell everything hers. After her death she was cremated as well so to be avoided dNA...
The whole case is more than strange and a little criminal...
