Thanks senators, there goes another $50K down the drain

Thanks to Senator Wayne James and his "Twin City" love affair for the small village of Montescudaio in Italy, we will be shipping $50K to their amateur soccer team so that they can wear the VI logo on their jerseys. Brilliant.

I realize that our government has gotten pretty good at getting less value for every dollar they spend, but this may take the cake.

How about we use that $50K to sponsor an adult or youth tournament here in the VI and invite 20 teams from around the country? At least the tourist industry would see a little action from something like that.
