Telemarketing
I receive roughly 3 calls a day from telemarketers. They call from all over the United States and since I don't know if it is a customer or not I need to answer the call. Does this active happen on St Thomas also. Just curious.
I don't think I've had more than three telemarketing calls on my 340 cell number over the entire 15 years I've lived in the VI!
The only time I have ever gotten a call is election time, when they are trying to turn out the vote! Oh, and CDC questionnaires.

very few times, all local like elections etc.

We do plan to change our number when we move to the island. It is going to save me lots of time not having to talk about a student loan I don't have, an instant credit card I can have, the pain management that I don't need, the spend 39.99 for a charm that keeps evil spirits away, and finally the burial insurance that I sure don't need right now because I already have some. Island living, ahhhhhhh.
yeah, I do recieve calls from many telemarketers, but now I have blocked some of their numbers but still, it is very difficult to differentiate who is calling.
Hopefully there’s a special place in Hell for telemarketers
Its very simple to avoid telemarketers. If you don't recognize the number, don't answer.
That's why you have voice mail!
