Ask your accountant or, since it was your husband who was employed in the VI, have him call the IRB office and ask them to explain the process to him based on his situation. The number is (340) 774-5865.

Just so other people have something to go by...I got a response from the IRB. They told me that we can file our taxes in Texas since he only has 4 months of taxable wages for 2005. If he would have been here for more than 180 days, then we would have had to file seperately. Thanks for your input, dbtw8up!
