We have been here for 4 weeks now and sadly have to turn around and go home to take care of my father who has took a turn. Timing is unfortunate, but the reason I am posting is to see if anyone has a place for my brother-in-law to live or if anyone is looking for a room mate. He has a job and has been getting good hours. He just needs a roof over his head now that we have to turn around and go back to the states. If anyone could lend this good guy a place to live. A studio or 1 bedroom or even the basement of a families home, it would be appreciated. He is looking to stay on the east end because he is working at Breezes. He will have a vehicle when we leave the island too. If anyone can give a good quote on a location on the eastern part of the island it would take a big burden lifted off my shoulder as I already have some struggles as is. Thanks in advance.

The Sunday-Monday Avis had more studios and 1BR apartments than I've seen available in 18 years. Several columns with greatly reduced rents from just a few years ago were listed there. Pink Fancy downtown has studios with utilities and pool at good prices as well.

Thank you, I have been checking the Avis, but also wanted to post on here in hopes of someone seeing it.

Check the classifieds section on this relocation forum.
You may find something there to suit his needs and budget.

We are located on STX. I have been avidly looking in the classified and thankfully our landlord now is working with us to help my brother in law out till he finds a room mate or a studio close to Breezes. We are leaving him our vehicle for transportation so something further east or around orange grove he would prefer. Thanks for the responses.
