Hello Bob,

Yes there is surfing here in the USVI. Try cutting and pasting this link.
http://vinow.com/general_usvi/more_info/surfing/

Or go to the home page www.vinow.com and the link is in the frequently asked questions area.

You will find a Q&A on surfing on that page. If you have further questions after reading that intro. post them.

Thank you Islander,

The info. that you gave me was very helpful.

I am bidding on a job there as the FAA Control Tower Manager at the airport .
Would you know anything about the Govt. Housing there? Like where it is located on the island. My two teenaged boys are ready to ship their surfboards down and go now!
Talk about putting the cart before the horse!!

Anyway thank you in advance...and thank you for all the great advice and info. on this site.

Bob

Hello Bob,

Your sons might want to contact VI windsurfing (I think thats right) it is a store and inquire about good spots, if they can get surf supplies there, cost, and if they also want to kite board, I think that VI windsurfing is the right place for that also.

Government housing??? Well not sure what you mean by that. Government housing is my definition in the USVI, are housing projects, low income housing.... is that what you mean. Or is there a program for employees like yourself where you get housing along with the job as a package?

Please clarify what you mean by gov't housing. Thanks.
