Hey everyone! Things are going great out here in St. Thomas.

I wanted to know if anyone knew a good place to surf on St. Thomas. I want to learn, just don't know where to start.

Also, I may be getting into my own one bedroom june 1st and might be looking to rent a plash to crash while newcomers find a place of their own. Looking to charge like 15 a day - 100 a week. Just to help supplement my rent durring the slow season. Let me know if you need a place to crash. Trying to help while getting help ya know.

Peace,
Brandon

This isn't surf season. You need the north swells that we get in the winter time. There may be occasional storms in the summer and you will find surfers around. Have you been out to Hull Bay? Have you stopped by Caribbean Surf Company in Havensight? I think it is a lot of word of mouth info. I have heard of surfing at many different spots depending on the weather conditions, but Hull is the main hang out.

Have you considered wind surfing or kite boarding?

Hi Brandon,
I'm should be moving down in a couple of months. I grew up surfing in Florida. I'm definitly going to surf when I'm there. I'm going to be there for a week(June 13-20) for a pre-move visit. I have done some reasearch, STT isn't supposed to be great but I'm sure there are some waves on the right beaches. Tortola is supposed to have some really good surf. Do you have a surfboard? Does the surfshop there have a good selection of boards? I don't know weather to bring mine or sell them and buy some over there. Talk to you later. Mark

Hi Brandon,

I'm moving down on June 1st, and would love to talk more to you about crashing for $100 a week. I have a small dog who is sweet. This would be helpful so that I can find the best place to live. I also have a job interview on the second and need to see how much they offer so I know what I can afford. Thanks for being so cool. Email is the best way to reach me. kenyattamm@yahoo.com

Never surfed before but I'm still cool, anyways...Holla

Brandon,
I'm coming down on July 1 and so far, I don't have anywhere to stay. Would you be interested in renting me a place to crash for a few days until I find a place if I don't have one by then? My email is rma3f@virginia.edu

Brandon-
Tortola has a few good spots to surf and is a good mini vacation from STT. I am flying out June 13 and was seeing if you had room for a couple nights. I am on STJ, and going home for the slow season.
thanks-

Brandon: Not to rain on your parade, but does your landlord know about your subletting plan?
