Summer Internship Vehicle Help? I need to borrow a car?!?!

Is there some reason you can't rent a car?

And if there is a reason YOU can't rent the car, the company should do it for you....either that or buy one from the Trader and keep pouring money into it....

I know this is not always the case with internships but usually they are done by people under 25. If you are under 25 and try to rent a car you will be turned down.

Its not likely anyone is going to let you borrow a car because you will not be covered on their insurance or cause it to skyrocket. Buy a $2000 island car and sell it when you go, hopefully it will be much cheaper then a rental.

Where will you be working (location?) If it's in town, where will you be staying? If you don't have a place, you could stay in town at Ronnie's place if he has space. www.villafairview.com If you work in town you could get by without a vehicle.

Thank you for that rental site.... that sounds awesome and def. in my price range... I'm think about shipping my motorcycle instead of renting and borrowing a car. I have heard about the Dollar Taxi Service and that sound best for in town driving like to go get groceries. I am 23 and will be doing an internship in Charlotte Amalie, I have my resume into Two Companies down there (both which are very interested in me) I will be deciding later this month which one to go with.. but both Home Offices are located in town.

Anyways

Does anyone know of short term rental houses or apt that are furnished that are in a good area and are pretty cheap.
Or does anyone know of someone that will be needing a roommate for the summer... if so please let me know..
