Summer Housing

Hello Mark,

Any chance someone in HR at the Westin could ask around the resort and see if anybody working there has an apartment or knows of one opening up for you? Word of mouth is useful. Are they putting you up at the resort for a couple nights when you first arrive? If they are then you can do the asking around yourself once on island. You can try Connections (they are a mail center/fax/internet etc. type place in Cruz Bay and Coral Bay). They have a bulletin board used to post apartments, roommates, used cars etc.

I actually just talked to the HR guy today and he told me that they no longer have a spot for me. He's been saying since September that there would be no problem finding me work, but he just backed out today. Not the happiest person now that I won't be spending my summer in STJ. Woulda had a blast. Now I get look forward to a summer in Camden, NJ at the Tweeter Center. YAHOO =:(

Mark, Caneel Bay is hiring wait staff and other positions. They're under new ownership. Also the Cruz Bay Watersports at the Westin is hiring. If you still want to go to STJ, just go. There are many jobs available for someone who's willing to work. The Tradewinds and the bulletin Board at the Starfish Market has lisintgs too.
I'd do anything to avoid Camden 🙁

If anyone has any information on Caneel Bay or Cruz Bay Watersports, or the easiest way to get in touch with them please let me know. The more I think about it, the more I can't stand the thought of working in Camden another summer.
