Their TripAdvisor reviews were mostly negative last time I checked. It's really unfortunate because those visitors may never return.

I poked around the internet the beginning of the year and could not find anywhere to make a new reservation on-line so not too surprising. Have not checked to see if that has improved lately.

It looks like a good strategy to purge the deadwood from the employee roster and beef up the bottom line. Sugar Bay is a nice property and won't have any problems attracting future guests with a fresh marketing strategy.

They have been purging for years and the staff gets great reviews online. The managers, however, don't. They have never had a good marketing strategy, and they really need new owners.

I hope they can get it back up with a reasonable business plan and service offerings. Sugar Bay is the first and last place we stayed on STT. Good memories. It really is a nice property.
