greetings

with the economy and ones losing money from their stock portfolio's left and right, even in the european market, perhaps there will be a scanty season across the board...as in all popular destinations.

i have friends that have businesses in negril, jamaica, and they are hurting...not nearly as many tourists.

let us just keep meditating for a change.

we certainly need one.

guidance
Sis Irijah

***as a side note....TRW....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a journal and start transferring all your napkin notes into it. PLEASE continue writing. I KNOW you can write a successful book without even trying. you can get published....look at all the trash houses publish....YOU have a story. YOU make us laugh ( and cry with you when you are sad). so I KNOW you can do it. SEEN?

so one of the new waiters(less than a month on island) packed it in already and is going back to the states,i think a lady friend of his came to visit and he's leaving with her,lol i hope it's worth it,if not we'll all be here when you come back, now do you suppose in the 50 years of dedicated service that adams has put in she's been stealing for all 50 or just the last few, that blurb in the paper from her lawyer was truly a joke, the island usually starts hopping the 2 weeks around thanksgiving, balls to the wall busy and then dies for about 3 weeks and then back to busy.

I don't know if she's a crook or whether she's too old or incompetent but trying to blame electronic or scanned signatures when the Secret Service investigated & found otherwise doesn't bode well. She just might be out of her depth to hold the position & was easily manipulated. I'd like to know more about her previous background. I hope the guilty get nailed to the wall. It's just disgusting & even worse is Carty. He can't blame ignorance of the law. He's an attorney. I have to use hospitals in Puerto Rico because this bunch made sure that any fool with insurance has to pay 3 times the price here.

And to think, his name was bandied about that he was planning to throw his hat into the ring for Governor next election! Good thing that one got nipped in the bud!

Carty's? Then he'd have the whole government to steal from instead of just the little old hospital. Glad they nailed him & I hope it sticks.

When will they learn that they will eventually get caught?

Maybe part of the problem is that so many were never caught so they just kept getting more & more brazen.

Now audits are being done at the fedral level if they get Fedral $. It's somewhat reassuring that the VI Inspector General was involved.

well the protest is in full swing here at gov house and i love the fact that these HUGGGGGGE trucks just stop in front of the building and lay on their air horns for as much as 2 minutes, hahahahahaha, cops all over the place, people with signs and horns honking,I LOVE IT!!!!!!!,i was slammed at the cafe today so that was great, first time in 2 weeks i've broke a sweat. then i went to get screened for depression,i answered all of their questions honestly, told them what i'm going through with the ex and that blah blah blah and the guy told me that while i may have signs of depression at times,i'm a survivor and to just continue going to meetings since that seems to help me the most,so i guess i'm normal.professional counciling and pills would do no more good than just going to an aa meeting.

You had a good person for that screening, Trw. Sometimes it's just a question of time - and endurance.

I've never met Ms Adams, I'm sure that Ronnie has and others too. I found this on line. How sad to end a lifetime of service with this ugly stain. Every person who serves on a public board needs to know that they have a fiduciary responsibility to protect the assets. Even if she did this due to ignorance or incompetence, she is guilty.

Did protesting and horn honking get them anywhere? Perhaps a frustration vent and an afternoon away from the workplace.

well today is one of those days when i lol hate stx,i needed a single stamp and so i went to the PO thinking they'd have a stamp machine but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO,that would be too easy, you have to freeze to death in line waiting for hours because everyone in front of you has to pass the time of day with the women "working" the counter,OMG just shut up and take care of your business and get out. I've no desire to listen to your conversation,i could care less what you did during the storm just shut up and get out,i have a cold and i'm freezing and my nose is running all over the place. ok i'm done now and yes living in town has it's advantages,we had power back on by 4pm on thursday.

my old boss Andre died from diabetes complications Sat morning, god he and danielle would fight like cats and dogs at times and then he'd go check in at carambola for a couple of days until things cooled down but they truly loved each other, lol he had that famous french temper and danielle had an even more famous spanish/corsican temper and the fur would fly along with glasses and wine bottles.

well meetings at the church have been cancelled because the power lines are on the ground so thats kinda irritating, lol whats a drunk to do when he needs a meeting, lol my solution was to go to zebos and have a piece of chocolate cake, lots of sugar!!!!! DPNR is giving the sunken boats 30 days to get out of the water, lol the cops were yelling at people to stay off the boardwalk on thursday morning but everyone just ignored them more or less and continued their promenades up and down, back and forth,i pretty much spent the whole day there reading my book and smoking and being just basically bored with the whole thing because i was missing work and i missed the storm because i slept through it.

i went to lalita last night because i'd never been there to eat before,i had the avacado wrap which was good and the owner made me drink a massive dose of ginger to help with my cold, still sneezing, running and hacking away. I finally get in to see my real lawyer tomorrow so that should be interesting.

well all my lawyer could do was shake her head and say i"ll talk to him,so then i went to the library and got a couple of books and then to paradise for a gyro, tonight i'm checking out the na meeting, hav'nt been to one of those in over a year. my cab driver showed me his really big gun while he was driving and how to load it and put the first round in the chamber and how fast he could pull it out to blow away bad guys if they try to attack him,he was born in 1950 in the bvi's and why i needed to know all of this information is beyond me
